We are proud to recognize the exceptional achievements of our students in this year’s national mathematics contests. Their strong performances reflect remarkable talent, perseverance, and academic commitment.
In Grade 9, Nathan G. earned first place at Senator O’Connor in the Pascal Contest, while Annika G. placed first in the school for the Fryer Contest and received national recognition for her outstanding results.
In Grade 10, Andrej N. ranked among the top 100 students nationally in the Canadian Intermediate Math Contest. He also earned top placement at O’Connor in both the Cayley and Galois Contests, and was awarded Performance with Honours in the Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge. Aiden R. also earned a strong result in the Cayley Contest, and Adarsh B. received national recognition for his performance in the Galois Contest.
In Grade 11, Nobel Z. placed first at O’Connor in both the Fermat and Hypatia Contests, achieving national distinction in each. He also performed exceptionally well in both the Canadian Senior Math Contest and the Grade 12 Euclid Contest, and earned a Performance with Distinction in the Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge.
In Grade 12, Yuzhen J. (school winner) and Haolong C. both earned national distinction in the highly competitive Euclid Contest. Haolong also placed first at O’Connor and was recognized nationally for his achievement in the Canadian Senior Math Contest.
