On March 5, Senator O'Connor College School's Senior Jazz Band and Saxophone Quartet, under the direction of Mr. Stephen Griffiths, performed at Humber Polytechnic’s Next Generation Jazz Festival. Each ensemble performed three tunes for the adjudicators and audience, followed by a short workshop where students received valuable feedback from professional musicians.
The festival was a fantastic opportunity for our students to share their hard work and continue developing their musicianship. We are proud to announce that both groups received a Gold rating and have been invited to perform at Nationals.
