Bishop Allen Academy’s Grade 9 and 10 students in the French Immersion Program attended Le Salon du livre de Toronto, taking part in a vibrant day of francophone culture, creativity, and learning. They met acclaimed author Marc Scott, creator of Légendes et récits autochtones, who brought his stories to life while sharing the inspirations, traditions, and creative process behind his work.

Students also participated in an energetic improv workshop led by Florian François, where they strengthened creativity, collaboration, and communication through engaging, team‑based activities.

To complete the experience, students joined an interactive activity organized by Radio‑Canada, adding an exciting media‑literacy dimension to the day.

The outing offered a rich celebration of language, storytelling, and student engagement—an experience that will stay with them well beyond the event.
