Bishop Allen Academy students and staff celebrated Earth Day in style, as the school’s Eco Club officially launched its mission to achieve Gold Certification through Eco Schools Canada for the first time.

To kickstart the journey towards this milestone, the Eco Club hosted a lively Earth Week from April 20–24, packed with events designed to engage the entire school community. Highlights included a community bake sale, a Blue Jays ticket raffle, and a school-wide trash clean-up, all of which successfully raised funds to support the club’s current goals.

These initiatives not only bolster Bishop Allen’s bid for Gold Certification but also lay the groundwork for the school’s ambitious 2026 target of attaining Platinum status.

The Eco Club members expressed their heartfelt thanks to all students and staff who participated in and supported the week’s activities. With such enthusiasm and dedication, Bishop Allen Academy is on a promising path to becoming a leader in environmental excellence.
