Father John Redmond Catholic Secondary School and Regional Arts Centre’s cross country team will be representing the school with an impressive 20 runners at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) Cross Country event on Saturday November 4, 2023 at Centennial Park.
After competing at the Toronto District Catholic (Colleges) Athletic Association (TDCAA) Championships last Friday on October 27, 2023 the team brought home the Overall Girls Championship Banner and the Senior Girls Championship banner. The Junior and Novice Girls team both placed 2nd in their divisions and the Senior Boys team was 3rd in the division.
The Senior Girls team’s runner, Daria Klufas finished in first place overall with a 25 second lead over the 2nd place runner. She was also awarded with the Father John Redmond Award from TDCAA for outstanding athlete at the Championship Meet. The team is looking forward to competing at OFSAA this week in Toronto!
