Congratulations to the Father John Redmond (FJR) Varsity Girls Basketball team for winning the ‘B Division’ City Finals on November 15, 2023 against St. Basil-the-Great College School. The finals game began with a close lead by St. Basil's, but ultimately, the FJR Redhawks fought back to win the game 45-26.
The FJR Redhawks worked hard to go undefeated and finished their season 8-0. Thank you to all of the FJR student volunteers, as well as Ms. Driscoll for coordinating the Championships held at Humber College North Campus. Led by coaches Ms. Grittani and Ms. McCormick, the team is made up of an amazing group of girls representing Redmond. Go Redhawks!
