Father John Redmond (FJR) students showcased their engineering prowess by clinching 3rd place at the prestigious Engineering Idol 2024 Competition held on Saturday, March 23. The focal theme of this year's competition revolved around Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, challenging the participating high school students to innovate and excel in this cutting-edge field.

Engineering Idol stands as a beacon for talent and ingenuity, drawing participants from various schools across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The event, organized by Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), serves as a platform for young minds to demonstrate their engineering skills and problem-solving abilities.

FJR extends heartfelt congratulations to the exceptional Grade 12 students who contributed to this remarkable achievement. Mila Yadegari led the team, supported by Diana Neshpyl, Natalia Kloda, Maegan Atahue, Luca Marks, Brian Bui, and Preston Lennox. Their dedication, teamwork, and commitment to excellence shone brightly throughout the competition.
