On May 5, 2025 (Monday), the Father John Redmond Catholic Secondary School community took part in the Red Dress Campaign developed by Canadian Indigenous Artist Jamie Black. Students hung Red Dresses in the artium to bring awareness about this pivotal topic in Canada, as well as to bring justice to the victims. All staff and students participated in a school wide prayer service and moment of silence, followed by multiple classes and teachers bringing their clay prayers to the lake as an offering to the missing women, children and 2 spited peoples. We stand in solidarity with all those who were lost.
