On October 22, the Grade 9 music students from Father John Redmond Catholic Secondary School attended the Fiesta Sinfónica concert at Roy Thomson Hall, performed by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. The students were thrilled to experience a vibrant celebration of Latin American music, featuring works by legendary composers such as Celia Cruz, Astor Piazzolla, and Eugenio Toussaint. The concert also included captivating dance performances by Adri Chavez, Arturo Coye, and the Abanico Dancers. The event concluded on a high note with an interactive finale, where students joined in singing a lively traditional mambo.
