Students from Father John Redmond Catholic Secondary School recently shared the spirit of the Christmas season during a visit to Lakeshore Lodge, where they delivered 150 handmade Christmas cards to residents. Thoughtfully created by Grade 9 and Grade 12 students, the cards served as a meaningful gesture of care, gratitude, and connection.
During the visit, students also brought joy to residents by singing a Christmas song with heartfelt enthusiasm. The experience served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of honouring the elderly, whose lives and contributions have helped shape the communities we enjoy today. Residents warmly received the cards and music, and the visit left both students and residents with a lasting sense of warmth, connection, and hope during the Christmas season.
