A large group of students performing music on a stage.

On the evening of Saturday, February 7, Father John Redmond vocal students performed at the Lyric Theatre at the Meridian Arts Centre as part of A Celebration of Black History through Music. The students joined the University of Toronto Faculty of Music Gospel Choir for this special event.

Under the direction of Dr. Darren Hamilton, conductor and event curator, and alongside guest soloist Dr. Trineice Robinson-Martin, Chair of the Ensemble Department at Berklee College of Music, the students delivered a powerful performance that received enthusiastic applause from more than 400 guests in attendance.

Thank you to vocal teacher Ms. Pear for her dedication and hard work in preparing students for this memorable and meaningful event.
