On Wednesday April 15, Father John Redmond Catholic Secondary School's Grade 11 Regional Arts Program (RAP) Dance class participated in the first "On The Floor High School Teams" dance competition.

Each student performed with confidence and strength in a highly competitive environment. The Grade 11 Hip Hop routine won a special award for their performance, technique, and energy. Judge Kate Hanson invited the group to stand up on stage, and she spoke to the audience about their professionalism and how their love of dance was evident in their performances. The Grade 11 Lyrical "It's All Coming Back" and Latin Fusion "La Playa" scored titanium awards with overall averages above 94%. A special congratulations to Samantha O. who placed as a Top 8 overall soloist in the advanced category.

We are so proud of all of our students. Way to go!
