On Friday, May 15, Father John Redmond Catholic Secondary School’s Student Council hosted its annual Multifest celebration to promote inclusivity, diversity, and cultural appreciation within the school community.
Students were encouraged to showcase their cultures through food by bringing homemade traditional dishes for their peers to sample. Throughout all lunch periods, students had the opportunity to enjoy a variety of cultural foods while learning more about the traditions and backgrounds represented within the school community.
The event served as a meaningful way to help all students feel welcomed, valued, and respected. The school community proudly demonstrated teamwork, kindness, and respect throughout the celebration, making this year’s Multifest a great success.
