What an incredible season for Flag Football at Father John Redmond Catholic Secondary School!
Our Senior Girls Flag Football team captured the Toronto District Catholic Athletic Association (TDCAA) Championship with an undefeated season! Throughout the season, the team demonstrated outstanding heart, determination and teamwork, and their hard work paid off with a well-deserved championship. Congratulations to the entire team on this amazing accomplishment!
Joining the girls in the championship celebration are our Senior Boys Flag Football players, who also claimed their TDCAA Championship banner last week. After embracing the challenge of learning a new sport, the team went on to capture TDCAA banners in both their Junior and Senior years. Congratulations to the boys on this outstanding achievement!
The Grade 12 students on both teams were part of the first-ever cohort to join the program during Redmond's inaugural season four years ago. Their years of dedication, commitment and hard work have now culminated in championship victories for both teams.
It has been a fantastic season for Redmond Flag Football, and all of the coaches are incredibly proud of both teams and everything they have accomplished. We are fortunate to work with such talented, dedicated and committed student-athletes who represent the Father John Redmond community so well.
Congratulations once again to our Senior Girls and Senior Boys: two teams, two championships and one very proud Redmond community!
Go Redhawks!
