Thank you to the Filipino Students’ Association of Toronto (FSAT) for speaking about their post-secondary experiences and providing mentorship to Loretto Abbey’s Filipino Club. FSAT held an after-school workshop where they spoke to Grade 11 and 12 students about university life with a special focus on the transition from high school to university.
Through their workshop, FSAT members discussed different courses, programs, and extracurricular activities that are offered at the University of Toronto and also spoke about student life while connecting with Filipino members of the LAT community. This event helped Grade 11 and 12 students to learn more about a potential post-secondary pathway, and also gave them the opportunity to meet mentors who share their cultural background while learning about the Filipino community at the University of Toronto.
