The Loretto Abbey Catholic Secondary School Girls' ski team won every competition they participated in at the Toronto District Catholic Athletic Association (TDCAA) championships on February 9.
Individual results:
Charlotte H. (Grade 9) placed first in the Girls Open Level (Club Trained) competition and will be competing at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) provincial championships.
Lily R. (Grade 9) placed first in the High School Level competition and qualified for OFSAA.
Unna Belle P. (Grade 11) placed second in the High School Level competition.
Team results:
Our A-Team placed first overall in the High School Level competition and will be going to OFSAA. Team members are Lily R. (Gr. 9), Unna Belle P. (Gr. 11), Veronica K. (Gr. 12), Amelia C. (Gr. 10), Brooke R. (Gr. 12), Zoe N. (Gr. 12), and Kayah N. (Gr. 12).
Our Skiing B-Team and snowboarders demonstrated great effort and sportsmanship: Sofia S., Emma F., Dayna F., Jessica I., Hana R., Tara P., Abigail N., and Zofia S.
