Congratulations to the Loretto Abbey team—Grade 12 students Natalie N., Amelia A., Angela F., and Tessa D.—for placing first in the annual Engineering Idol competition hosted by the University of Toronto!
As part of a challenge to design a modern and inclusive school concept, the team developed a winning app that converts teacher notes into auditory, kinesthetic, or visual learning formats. In addition to their first-place finish, the team earned $750 for their achievement.
