On May 11 and 12, 80 members of the Loretto Abbey music program travelled to Niagara Falls to participate in the MusicFest Canada national competition. The school is proud of the students’ achievements at this national event.
The Junior Concert Band earned a Gold rating, and student Bella Kiskinova Sabeva received the MusicFest Honours Award for the ensemble. The Senior Wind Ensemble received a Silver rating, and student Andrhea Herrera was recognized with the MusicFest Honours Award for the ensemble.
The students will showcase their work again at the school’s Spring Concert, Flora Forte, taking place on the evening of May 21.
