Saint Patrick Arts Department

Arts

At St. Patrick Catholic Secondary School, we are blessed to be part of a community where the Arts are an integral part of who we are.

We celebrate the artistic expressions of our students in our music concerts, choir, musicals, plays, dance and dramatic performances, visual and media art showcases, talent shows, multi-cultural nights, liturgies, and in our classrooms.

Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time. - Thomas Merton

Through the Arts, students engage in authentic creative and critical thinking. In our Dance, Dramatic Arts, Music and Visual Arts Programs, importance is placed on exploring ideas, taking creative risks, learning through process, and sharing creative journeys.

These programs provide a supportive learning environment allowing students to build technical skills, experience joy and laughter, develop self-expression, and feel a strong sense of connectedness within the community.
