Canadian and World Studies

One of the main goals of the Canadian and World Studies and Social Sciences and Humanities (CWS/SS) Department is to equip our students with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to successfully navigate through the world in which they exist and the future that awaits them.

Students are challenged to develop a critical lens through which they can examine our media-saturated world, develop an understanding and respect for different perspectives, and develop the ability to be creative problem solvers.
