Welcome to St. Patrick Catholic Secondary School's Catholic School Parent Council (CSPC)!

At St. Patrick Catholic Secondary School, students are encouraged to achieve academic excellence, explore their creativity and develop the skills needed to succeed in a rapidly changing world. Our school fosters a strong sense of community through partnerships among students, families, staff and parish, creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every student can thrive.

Our Parent Council is an important part of the St. Patrick Catholic Secondary School community.

It provides a forum for parents and guardians to share ideas, support student success and work collaboratively with school administration to enhance the educational experience for all students. The school emphasizes strong partnerships between home, school, parish, and the Parent Council plays a key role in strengthening those connections.

The Parent Council brings energy, creativity and dedication to supporting student success. Throughout the year, council members organize fundraising initiatives and leverage all school events that help enhance the student experience by funding student-led projects, purchasing equipment, tools, and learning materials, as well as helping offset the costs of competitions, extracurricular activities and specialized programs.

Through their efforts, the Council provides valuable opportunities that enrich learning and support students in reaching their full potential.

Whether you can volunteer regularly or attend only a few meetings each year, your voice is valued.

Please note: If you would like to volunteer at school events or activities, you will be required to obtain a background check (Police Record Check) clearance. The application process takes only a few minutes to complete. However, processing can take several weeks.

We encourage interested parents and guardians to begin the process early to ensure they are eligible to participate in upcoming events.

CSPC Meeting Dates 2026-2027

In-person meetings are held at the school library. For virtual meetings, a Zoom link will be shared by the principal.

  • November 16, 2026 (Monday) - In person at 6:00 PM

  • December 16, 2026 (Wednesday) - Virtual at 6:00 PM

  • January 18, 2027 (Monday) - Virtual at 6:00 PM

  • February 16, 2027 (Tuesday) - Virtual at 6:00 PM

  • March 8, 2027 (Monday) - Virtual at 6:00 PM

  • April 19, 2027 (Monday) - In person at 6:00 PM

  • May 17, 2027 (Monday) - In person at 6:00 PM

All parents and guardians are welcome to attend.

What We Discuss

Parent Council meetings may include:

  • School updates and upcoming events.

  • Student achievement and well-being initiatives.

  • School improvement priorities.

  • Community partnerships and volunteer opportunities.

  • Fundraising and enhancement projects.

  • Questions, ideas and feedback from parents.

New Members and Help Welcome

No previous experience is required. We encourage parents and guardians from all grade levels and backgrounds to participate. Fresh perspectives help ensure the Parent Council reflects the diverse voices of our school community.

If you are not able to give your time, there are also several ways you can support the Council through donations. We gratefully accept financial contributions (through SchoolCash Online), as well as donations of items for our silent auctions and prizes for games and activities throughout the year.

Every contribution helps enhance opportunities and experiences for our students.
