Parents and guardians play an important role in the education of their children and have a responsibility to support the efforts of school staff in maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment for all students.
The Catholic School Parent Council (CSPC) is a way that parents can communicate with the school and find out what's happening at the school - especially events, trips, and awards for which the school community is proud of.
The mandate of the Loretto College School CSPC is to provide meaningful input to the Principal on a number of significant areas that lead to school improvements, including:
Student behaviour.
School curriculum.
Student needs.
School growth and improvement plans.
Criteria for the selection of the school principal.
Fundraising activities.
Ensuring that the Catholic system of education is fostered.
Promoting and supporting the best interests of the school community.
The advisory council also attempts to enable parents and students to assume a more responsible and active role in education programs and services.
Stay tuned for upcoming meeting dates.
