Dismantling Anti-Black Racism in the TCDSB Equity Action Plan (2023-2026)

Dismantling Anti-Black Racism is one of our key braided strands in the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) 2023-2026 Equity Action Plan. Our Dismantling Anti-Black Racism Strategy includes the following action items:

  1. Hiring more Black staff.

  2. Representation in curriculum.

  3. Anti-racism professional learning for staff.

  4. Restorative justice.

  5. Strengthen trust and engagement with the TCDSB Black community.

  6. Mental Health and wellbeing for Black students.

  7. Handling of racism.
