On October 29, Loretto College School's Dance and Music students had the exciting opportunity to attend a performance of MJ The Musical at Toronto’s renowned Ed Mirvish Theatre. The production vividly brought to life the incredible journey of Michael Jackson—from his early days as a young prodigy performing with The Jackson 5, through his groundbreaking solo career, and ultimately to his final concert tour. The show offered a raw, emotional, and deeply human portrayal of the King of Pop, exploring both his extraordinary talent and the immense pressure that came with global fame.

The energy, precision, and artistry displayed by the cast were truly inspiring. The spectacular dancing and powerful vocals captivated the audience, demonstrating the heights that can be achieved through passion, perseverance, and dedication to one’s craft. For our Arts students, the experience was not only entertaining but also profoundly motivating — a vivid reminder of how creativity and commitment can combine to create something unforgettable.

At Loretto College – the small school with a big heart – we believe that when girls are given the tools, encouragement, and opportunities they need, they can become successful women in the future!
