On Friday, October 24, Loretto College School proudly partnered with the Newcomer Orientation Week (NOW) Program to host a full-day event celebrating our newcomer students and supporting their transition into the Canadian school system.

Settlement Workers from North York Community House (NYCH) led inspiring and informative workshops on Mental Health, Financial Literacy, and Youth Employment, while our incredible English Language Learner (ELL) Peer Leaders facilitated fun, interactive activities throughout the day.

We ended the event on a high note with lively dance performances that filled the room with Loretto spirit, connection, and joy!

A warm welcome to all our new students—we’re thrilled to have you as part of the Loretto Family!

At Loretto College–the small school with a big heart–we believe that when girls are given the tools, encouragement, and opportunities they need, they can become successful women in the future!
