The Loretto College School community is very proud to have been able to assist 22 families through the homeroom Christmas basket drive run by students in the leadership program under the direction of Ms. Ferrante and Ms. Canas. Thanks to the generosity and kindness of our students, staff, and families, the baskets contained the basic food items and items needed for the home to help alleviate the financial strain experienced by many families during the holiday time of year. This event also demonstrated how the true spirit of Christmas is about helping others and providing assistance, as well as modelling responsibility for one another. In addition, this event provided an excellent opportunity for student leaders to work together to support those in need of their community in a positive way through collaboration. We are grateful for everyone who contributed to the success of this event and helped uphold the core values of kindness and social justice at Loretto College.
At Loretto College – we are the small school with a big heart – we believe that when girls are given the tools, encouragement, and opportunities they need, they can become successful women in the future!
