Streets is far more than a powerful social justice dance piece—it is faith in action.  Created and Directed by Loretto College School (LCS) Educator and Artist, Andrea Ramolo and Performed by senior students at Toronto’s Loretto College School, Streets shines a light on the city’s homelessness crisis, inviting audiences not only to witness suffering, but to feel compelled to respond. Through movement, vulnerability, and storytelling, these students embody what it means to live their faith through action—transforming compassion into awareness, and awareness into responsibility.

This is the heart of a Loretto education. Guided by the mission and vision of Mary Ward and the Loretto Sisters, LCS students are formed to be seekers of truth, advocates for justice, and courageous women leaders who engage with the world as it is—especially where it is most broken. Mary Ward’s call to “do good and do it well” is not confined to the classroom; it is lived on the stage, in the streets, and in the lives these students seek to uplift.

Streets is only one example of the depth, talent, empathy, and moral courage nurtured within this community. Loretto College does not simply educate; it forms young students who lead with integrity, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to justice. When faith, action, and excellence come together so powerfully, the world deserves to see it.
