The Loretto College School community gathered for the final homeroom Mass held at Loretto College Chapel. Over the course of these Masses since the beginning of Easter, it has been a truly beautiful experience to come together with students in such an intimate and prayerful setting, sharing the joy of the Holy Mass.
This meaningful series would not have been possible without the dedicated ambassadors of the Chaplaincy Faith Fam. From the readers and altar servers to those working quietly behind the scenes, their commitment and care helped bring each celebration to life.
The last Mass was especially significant as Father Gustavo crowned our statue of Mary. The crowning of Mary in the month of May is a cherished Catholic tradition, honoring her as the Queen of Heaven and Mother of God. By placing a crown of flowers upon her, we recognize her virtues and her loving role as an intercessor for all.
We were also proud to formally recognize two new murals that will now have a lasting place in our school. Evangelina Scott and Hannah Galvez generously shared their time and artistic gifts to create these beautiful works—The Foundress by Evangelina and Mary, Queen of Sorrows by Hannah. Their contributions will continue to inspire our community for years to come.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Father Gustavo Campo, whose support has been constant from the very beginning. From scheduling and organization to tending to the needs of the chapel, he has been present at every step of the way. It has been a joy to witness his growing connection with our students, who have truly valued his presence in the school.
