On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, Loretto College School hosted a Post-21 Transition Fair. This meaningful event was designed to support students with intellectual disabilities and their families as they plan for a successful transition to adult life and greater independence.
Families, students, and educators had the opportunity to connect with adult service agencies and learn more about college vocational programs and community supports available after high school. The evening fostered valuable conversations and meaningful connections.
A special highlight of the event was the celebration of Desiree Da Costa, a Loretto College School alumna and author of All About Me and Cerebral Palsy. Desiree was honoured with a star on the school’s Walk of Fame in recognition of her accomplishments, advocacy, and inspiration to the community.
Thank you to the Catholic Parental Involvement Committee for their generous support and partnership in helping make this important evening such a success.
At Loretto College School, we are the small school with a big heart. We believe that when girls are given the tools, encouragement, and opportunities they need, they can become successful women in the future.
