Loretto College School’s English Language Learners (ELL) students hosted a vibrant Culture Fest and End of Year Celebration, bringing together students to celebrate the diversity and cultures that make the school community unique. Students led a variety of interactive activities and games, including the Filipino Race (Bakya), a traditional wooden clog racing game, a fishing game titled Catch and Discover Brazil featuring trivia challenges, a World Cup photo booth, and many other cultural experiences that encouraged learning, teamwork, and fun.
Following Culture Fest, students gathered for an End of Year Celebration featuring a pizza lunch and an awards presentation recognizing student achievement, leadership, resilience, and growth throughout the school year. The day concluded with a Welcoming Wellness Workshop facilitated by For Youth Initiative, allowing students to connect, reflect, and celebrate a successful year together. It was a wonderful day of culture, community, and celebration for ELL students.
At Loretto College School, the community is known as a small school with a big heart. The school believes that when girls are given the tools, encouragement, and opportunities they need, they can become successful women in the future.
