Throughout the month of June, the Loretto College School community joyfully celebrated the Month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in a unique and meaningful way. Inspired by the love, compassion, and presence of Christ, our LCS Faith Team invited students and staff to take part in a special "Hide Mini Jesus" initiative.
Each day, small Jesus figurines were carefully hidden throughout the school, waiting to be discovered. Those who found a figurine were encouraged to take a photo with their special find and share it with the school community, spreading smiles, gratitude, and the joy of Jesus with others.
This simple activity became much more than a daily search. It served as a reminder that Jesus is always present in our lives, often found in unexpected places and moments. The excitement of finding a figurine sparked conversations about faith, hope, and kindness, while bringing our school community together in a spirit of joy and celebration.
The Month of the Sacred Heart calls us to reflect on Christ's unconditional love and invites us to share that love through our words and actions. Through this initiative, our students and staff experienced that love in a fun and engaging way, reminding us that even the smallest acts can become opportunities to encounter Christ and brighten someone else's day.
Thank you to our dedicated LCS Faith Team for bringing this beautiful tradition to life and to everyone who participated with such enthusiasm. Together, we continue to live the Loretto spirit by sharing faith, building community, and keeping the love of Jesus at the heart of all we do.
"Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make our hearts like yours."
At Loretto College School, we are the small school with a big heart. We believe that when girls are given the tools, encouragement, and opportunities they need, they can become successful women in the future.
