A beautiful new school year at Loretto College School began with a special blessing for our students and our school community. We were grateful to welcome Father Joseph from St. Nicholas of Bari Church, who visited Loretto College to offer a special blessing for our students as they begin another year of learning, growing, and living out the Loretto mission.
Father Joseph visited each and every class, taking the time to bless our students and remind them that God walks with them throughout their school journey. His presence was a wonderful reminder that our faith is not simply something we learn about—it is something we live each day. He also joined our staff in their PD sessions before school started to Bless them in their journeys as Leaders at LCS.
As we begin this new school year, we pray that our students will be guided by the example of Venerable Mary Ward, growing in faith, courage, compassion, and service. May they have the courage to seek truth, the compassion to care for others, and the strength to use their gifts for the greater good.
We are deeply grateful to Father Joseph for sharing this special moment with our Loretto community and for surrounding each of our classes with prayer and God's blessing. May God bless our Loretto students, staff, and families throughout the year ahead. May we walk together in faith and continue to be women for others.
At Loretto College School, we are the small school with a big heart. We believe that when girls are given the tools, encouragement, and opportunities they need, they can become successful women in the future. We are Beacons of Excellence in all that we do.
"Do and suffer for the greater glory of God." - Venerable Mary Ward
