On September 30, Loretto College gathered to observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and honour the experiences and stories of Indigenous Peoples, Residential School Survivors, and the children who never returned home.

We were honoured to welcome David A. Robertson, award-winning author of 52 Ways to Reconcile, as our special guest speaker. Through his words and teachings, David invited our students and staff to deepen their understanding of reconciliation and consider the meaningful role each of us can play in moving forward.

His visit provided an opportunity for our Loretto College School (LCS) community to listen, learn, reflect, and take action, connecting Truth and Reconciliation not only to one day of recognition, but to the ongoing work we can carry with us throughout the year.

We are grateful to David A. Robertson for sharing his knowledge, stories, and perspective with our Loretto community.

Learn, Reflect, Take Action

At Loretto College, we are the small school with a big heart. We believe that when girls are given the tools, encouragement, and opportunities they need, they can become successful women in the future. We are Beacons of Excellence in all that we do.
