Loretto College School extends a heartfelt thank you to its entire school community for the incredible generosity and participation in this year’s Loretto College School (LCS) Thanksgiving Food Drive. Together, the community collected over 1,000 food items to support individuals and families in need.
This wonderful accomplishment reflects the compassion, kindness and spirit of service that are at the heart of Loretto College School. Through the generosity of students, families and staff, the school community turned gratitude into meaningful action and shared its blessings with others.
Inspired by the vision of the school’s foundress, Mary Ward, and guided by Loretto values of faith, service, justice and compassion, the community is reminded that living its faith means recognizing the dignity of every person and responding to the needs of others. As a community of Women for Others, students continue to demonstrate that even small acts of kindness can make a significant difference.
The school is deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of this initiative. Their generosity is a beautiful example of the Loretto spirit and a reminder of what can be accomplished when people come together in service to others. Most of the collected items were sent to Good Shepherd Ministries and the school’s community partner, Abrigo Centre.
At Loretto College School, the community puts its faith into action by sharing its blessings, serving others and making a difference in their lives. The school is proud to be the small school with a big heart. It believes that when girls are given the tools, encouragement and opportunities they need, they can become successful women in the future. The school strives to be a Beacon of Excellence in all that it does.
