The Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) Newcomer Conference will be held on October 25 (Tuesday) for Grades 5-8 and October 26 (Wednesday) for Grades 9-12. The conference will be held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Catholic Education Centre (80 Sheppard Avenue East, Toronto, ON, M2N 6E8).
The Newcomer Conference aims to:
- Provide a networking opportunity for new students.
- Build confidence among newcomer students to interact with others.
- Provide a platform for newcomer students to ask questions and share their lived experiences.
- Give students educational resources and connections to resource providers.
- Build allyship and a greater sense of belonging.
