Newcomer Conference

The Newcomer Conference is geared towards welcoming all newcomer students to the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) community. The 2026 Newcomer Conference will be held on October 21, 2026 (Wednesday) for Grades 9 to 12 and October 23, 2026 (Thursday) for Grades 5 to 8.

Newcomer Conference 2026 - The Newcomer Conference is geared towards welcoming all newcomer students to the TCDSB community. This student-centred conference will include opportunities for students to network, make peer connections, and participate in a variety of workshops and activities. - WHO: Open to Permanents Residents, International Students or Refugees who have arrived in Canada from 2021 onwards. Educators must register for and attend the conference with any newcomer students who fit in the description above. Educators, please register early as seats are limited. - WHEN: October 21: Secondary (9-12) October 23: Elementary (5-8) 10 am - 2 pm - WHERE: Catholic Education Centre 80 Sheppard Avenue E, Toronto, ON M2N 6E8 - Register by October 2, 2026 - Register by October 2, 2026 at 4 PM - Questions?
