      Our Parenting and Family Literacy Centres are school based programs where parents/caregivers and their children, from birth to six years of age, participate in play-based activities that promote the development of literacy and numeracy skills through discovery, inquiry, exploration and creativity. The programs are FREE and open to all.
      Our Parenting and Family Literacy Centres:
      ·         support children’s early learning and well-being of the whole child

      promote positive parent-child interaction and engagement

      help children transition more easily to kindergarten through a collaborative approach between parent/caregiver, program facilitator and kindergarten teacher

  • Psychologist Psychological Associate or Psychoeducational Consultant

      The Toronto Catholic District School Board is currently using Apply to Education to search for Psychologist Psychological Associate or Psychoeducational Consultant candidates to work on an occasional basis.

      POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
      ·         Half-time and two full-time positions (contract and permanent)
       
      WORK YEAR:
      ·         School Year Plus Six (6) Working Days
      ·         Applications are invited for the position of psychologist or psychological associate/psychoeducational consultant with duties to commence immediately
       
      DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
      ·         Psychological assessment/intervention and prevention services on behalf of students
      ·         Consultation with school personnel and parents and community agencies
      ·         Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team under the administrative and professional supervision of the Chief Psychologist.
       
      QUALIFICATIONS:
      ·         Ph.D. or Masters Degree in applied psychology with a focus on children and adolescents
      ·         Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
      ·         A valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a car
      ·         Pastoral Reference.
