Ontario Student Transcript

An official Ontario Student Transcript is a record of the credits earned in secondary school. Transcripts are required for university or college applications, other post-secondary programs, employment, and more.

All school boards in Ontario are mandated to maintain the Ontario Student Record folder, including a copy of the official transcript, for a minimum of 55 years after the student has been demitted.

How to Obtain an Ontario Student Transcript

Transcript requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. They typically require 5 to 7 business days to process.

The Archives and Records Management Department is closed to public access. Walk-ins are not available due to hybrid work arrangements. If you have any questions regarding your transcript request, please contact student.records@tcdsb.org.

Please be advised that the Student Diploma Processing Office will be closed from July 2, 2025 to September 2, 2025.

During this period, no diploma requests will be processed or issued.
