Board policies with their regulations must be interpreted in the light of Ministry of Education (EDU) statutes and regulations. Wherever inconsistencies appear in interpretation, the EDU statutes and regulations prevail. Where a conflict appears between a policy and regulation with a negotiated agreement, it must be interpreted in line with the contract for the members of that particular bargaining unit.

Our policy repository contains policies and procedures which have been approved by the Board to guide administration in carrying out its responsibilities.
The maintenance of the policy repository is a dynamic ongoing process. As issues arise, new policies will be required as well as the revision of existing policies.
