Dear TCDSB Families,
As we head into the weekend, weather forecasts are indicating the potential for extreme winter conditions and significant snowfall.
In light of these forecasts, the Toronto Catholic District School Board is issuing this notice to keep families informed of how inclement weather may affect bus transportation, school operations and secondary exam schedules (more details below) on Monday, January 26.
We are monitoring weather conditions and will keep families informed of any potential impacts to school operations at approximately 6:00 AM on Monday, January 26.
The Board uses a variety of methods to communicate with families during inclement weather, with the primary source for the most up-to-date information being the Board’s website and social media channels: Instagram | Facebook | X | BlueSky.
The Board will only issue an e-mail to families via SchoolMessenger in the following scenarios:
Schools and Board sites are closed and buses are cancelled.
Buses are cancelled and schools and Board sites are open.
Please note that due to volume, email notifications sent through SchoolMessenger, a third-party provider, may experience delays during peak usage periods.
