Dear TCDSB Community,
We hope your summer is off to a good start! We are offering an alternate process during the summer months for parents and guardians interested in volunteering at their child’s school to obtain the signed fee waiver letter required for a Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC).
Please note: This process applies only to volunteers requiring a CRJMC. It does not apply to volunteers who require a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC). Visit our website to learn more about who requires a CRJMC.
Fee Waiver for a CRJMC
To obtain a fee waiver letter before the start of the school year, please follow the process below.
To receive the fee waiver:
Complete the fee waiver letter.
Email the completed letter to SupportOffice@tcdsb.org with the subject line “CRJMC Fee Waiver Letter” for the signature from a TCDSB representative.
Obtain the signed letter before applying for your CRJMC at your local police office.
Include the signed letter with your CRJMC application.
