At the Toronto Catholic District School Board’s (TCDSB) inaugural meeting on November 22, 2022, Nancy Crawford, Trustee for Ward 12 was confirmed as Chair and Frank D’Amico, Trustee for Ward 6 was confirmed as Vice-Chair.
Nancy Crawford was first elected as a TCDSB Ward 12 Trustee in 2010. In her time as a Trustee, Nancy has chaired all Standing Committees and served on the Angel Foundation for Learning Board of Directors, as well as the Nurturing Our Catholic Community Advisory Panel. She championed the Ministry of Education required performance appraisal process for the Director and previously served as the Chair of Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC). Nancy is an active member of St. Brigid’s Parish and is driven to a life of community service.
“I am proud to serve as the Chair of the TCDSB as we continue to support our school communities through the impacts of the pandemic. I am committed to ensuring that Toronto Catholic is recognized as an inclusive learning community rooted in the love of Christ and will strive to further enhance connections between schools, parishes and homes,” says Chair Crawford. “I am committed to working together with all of my fellow Trustees to keep students at the center of all that we do and to support student faith development, success and well-being.”
Frank D’Amico was first elected as a TCDSB Ward 6 Trustee in 2010 and has served on numerous committees including the SEAC for a 4-year term. Frank is currently employed with the Canadian Armed Forces and has been proudly serving his country for 24 years. Frank has also earned his Canadian Decoration, One Brigade Commander's Commendation, Two Land Force Central Area Commander's Commendations and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
“I share a commitment to Catholic Education along with the newly elected Chair and am confident that together we will make decisions that are grounded in God’s love and are rooted in our Catholic values. In my role as Vice-Chair, I remain available to support the Chair as needed as we carry out our role as governors of the Board.”

- Corporate Services, Strategic Planning and Property Committee – Chair: Teresa Lubinski; Vice-Chair: Trustee Maria Rizzo.
- Governance and Policy Committee – Chair: Trustee Angela Kennedy; Vice-Chair: Trustee Garry Tanuan.
- Supervised Alternative Learning – Trustee Teresa Lubinski, Trustee Garry Tanuan (alternate).
- Catholic Parent Involvement Committee – Trustee Ida Li Preti; Trustee Markus de Domenico (alternate).
